Graviers Dijon

The Graviers sits in the Côte-d'Or region near Dijon and comprises two gravel pits: a Main Lake of around 25 acres extracted in the late 1970s/early 1980s, and a smaller five-acre Long Lake extracted in 2001. The fishery opened to anglers in 2002.

It's one of the most historically significant carp waters in Europe — home to The Scarfish, the 99lb carp that held the world record in 2010, and later to The Brown Fish, a fish of around 89lb. The Main Lake runs to roughly 10-11ft deep with excellent water clarity, and the venue is generally considered better suited to experienced anglers prepared to work hard on an uncrowded, difficult water.
