Farlows Lake 2 carries an estimated 500-plus carp, built on its original stock plus 400 fish added in 2013 and a further batch from VS Fisheries — with average weights now sitting between 22lb and 24lb.
Nearly 50 fish in the lake have passed the 30lb mark, and the current lake records stand at 41lb 2oz for a common and 39lb 12oz for a mirror. A 17lb 10oz pike was also landed here last year.
